I just got a new female sugar glider about a week and a half ago (for my solo glider who isn't accepting her, but that's another post). The breeder I got her from fed her cat food and apples, and that is seriously all she will eat! I've been trying to add new things into her cage every night but she's very picky. I got some cat food and I've tried only putting a little with the other foods but she really will only eat the cat food and apples. Are there any tricks to get her to widen her diet and stop eating cat food?

When I get new glider they get OHPW with fruits and veggies plus happy glider kibble in the cage 24/7. they start by eating the OHPW, and maybe the corn once they figure out how good that tastes. the last two gliders I got took up to
TWO MONTHS to start eating all/most fruits and veggies. its very unlikely they
will starve themselves when they have edible food in the cage.

introductions. MANY websites have a set of instructions on how to get two
or more gliders to live together. they are IMPORTANT procedures that should be
understood. failure to do this can lead to one glider killing the intruder into
their territory.
