I currently have 2 gliders, but I’m going to be taking my sisters 3 gliders this weekend, as my nephew has quit getting them out or interacting with them and she wants them to get the attention they deserve (he’s 14 now and is focused on other things now). We’re happy to take them, as one of my gliders is the son of her two adults (the male has thankfully been neutered), but I’m concerned about having so many. I want to make sure everyone gets all the attention and interaction that they need. I’m also worried about any additional smell from the cage. We don’t have a big house, it’s not small but also not big, and with 2 gliders regular cleaning and running an air purifier 24/7 guests have said they can’t smell them. This is a big one for us because we also have 3 dogs and less smell means less investigating of the cage. Does anyone have any advise on having so many gliders? I’d also love recommendations on how to help combat any additional cage smell in addition to the thorough cleaning in already doing. Does anyone else use purifiers? Mine is older and probably needs replacing soon.

Thank you! I'm excited for Niffler and Scrat to have a more active social life, and get to play more. I think I'm just stressing over want to make sure everything works out. I know how stressful moving homes can be for gliders, and I don't want them to go through 3 homes.

got a colony of 6, love the smell, I dont think they have much problems with
amount of attention, they sleep together during the day and at night nap many of
them in the ball pit. so I give them about 1 hour a night maybe more, every
other night, after treats run out most go back to the pouch or ball pick for a
nap anyway, some will sleep with me but most don't want my attention after about
60 minutes.
the biggest difference for me is you go thru more food and have to make up
food more often and you usually have 3 giving you some good attention at night.
