Anyone has the experiences on the sugar glider with laser neuter?

After the laser process, HOW TO TAKE CARE OF the sugar glider? Any e-collar or e-jacket is needed?

Thanks.

#3661;You should have either e-collar or e-jacket after the laser neuter. We cannot overestimate the suggie's behavior. To protect is the best.

e-jacket is more flexible for the sugarglider to eat and to move than e-collar (the sugarglider will get some difficulties on eating and moving. For sure, the suggie can get the stress, but it's ok for the owner to monitor. (as ever seen some posts) they recommend to wear either e-collar or e-jacket for at least 10 days. Also follow the Vet's advices including the medicines to be taken.

Hope your boy(s) are fine with the laser neuter.

<> Recommend to have e-jacket that suits to your sugarglider's size.

I have no experience with this but am replying since you aren't getting any. I will try and add some common sense to help you get you the correct answer. I would expect the vet performing the operation to know what to do in this case since they must be experienced with sugar gliders if doing the surgery. I would call the vet you are thinking about performing the operation and ask if there is anything you need to purchase or prepare in advance. If they say don't worry about it the visit comes with everything needed or tells you what to buy ahead of time and to prepare and isolation cage you are good to go (not saying you need an isolation cage I have no clue). If they don't have a clue I would find a new vet because they have no experience with sugar gliders and shouldn't be performing the work.
