To answer a few of your questions: When it comes to minerals, you definitely should take care for that and make sure you are feeding them the right amount each day. Too much, especially over a certain period of time, can make them sick (or not enough minerals) You should also be switching up the treats and fruit/veggies that you give them. Certain foods have different minerals, and too much of anything can be harmful (which is the same for humans too, haha). Switching things up can give them a well rounded diet, but some gliders are picky eaters for certain foods so I sometimes have to get created. Make sure to research which foods are safe for them too becuase there are a bit that are not! To answer your last question, I recommend bonding as much as you can, so long as you are not disrupting their sleep. They should be sleeping all day, and awake at night. I keep them in a pouch sometimes all day under my shirt or in my bra while I'm working from home. I try to put them away when I am moving around so they can sleep, but the more you have them with you in a pouch, the better you will bond. Good luck!! |
