Hi everyone! So let me just start out with saying that I’ve had my two babies (Honey & Sweetie) for a couple months now. They’re 4 years old and was given to me from someone who was interested in a different pet. (I know, what a shame)

She gave them to me with a bag of fresh fruits/veggies (to give me a gist of what I should be feeding them) & pellets with a couple treats. So from there I started feeding them pellets every night with a few fresh feuits/veggies, trying to get to know them and what they like. Over time I’ve learned they do NOT like the pellets.. So I tried HPW (was recommended). They ate that for a few nights and now they completely reject it.

So fast forwarding, I would go to the grocery store weekly to get them new fruits/veggies that would be different each week. I’d pre-prep it and just store it in the fridge, feed it to them until it runs out (or goes bad) with a side of mealworms & grasshoppers and sometimes some eggs or chicken.. they’ve been getting super picky with the fruits/veggies. Some nights they eat, some nights they don’t.

Fast forward again, I’ve learned they need the appropriate diet with calcium, protein, ect. So I did some research and decided to try the BML diet.

I’ve read some bad things and good things and I wanted to bear what you guys had to say. They seem to SEMI like it. I feed them 2 cubes with 2tbsp of fruit and 2 tbsp of veggies. They seem to eat half the BML and then only eat the fruit. (Not sure why but they don’t like they’re veggies).

I’m not sure what else to do to make sure they're eating and getting their full nutritional needs. Nor am I sure what else I could try feeding them. They’re so picky.

Does anyone have any tips, please? LMK! Thank you!

My first 2 gliders came with glider show from pocket pets my other 2 gliders came with pellets only because they traveled from texas and they recommend the pet glider diet they wouldn't eat it so i left them on the glider chow and glider-mins ever since. Now I'm adding fresh veggies and different fruit to their diet which is challenging I went on line to see what gliders can eat and there are a lot of different veggies and fruits out there they can eat. I fed my gliders kale lettuce last night and i drizzled a little honey over it and sweet potato and they ate the lettuce and most of the sweet potato. So try drizzling honey over the food and see how that works ( remember a little honey goes a long way) and don't forget to mix it up to cover the rest of the good stuff
