I am planning to get a joey this month if possible male. I am not planning to breed or have joeys in the future. Is it possible to have the pack effect if i were to put 2 males in different cages but side by side?

I don’t want to neuter them because the vet care in my country is quite questionable especially for exotic animals. I am not against getting females but I do prefer males.
