Hey!

So I am considering getting a sugar glider but I wanted to find out all I can before I actually get one. I have two cats right now. I am assuming that it might not be best for a sugar glider to be roaming around with them in the same room correct? Do sugar gliders get along with other animals?

Thanks so much for any help!

Sugar gliders cannot get along with other animals. Many people have had animals that are cool with the gliders until they aren't home then the eat them.

Also you should get TWO sugar gliders since they get depressed alone.

Uhm, I would think a cat would want to chase it like a mouse.

You are asking for trouble when you put suggies with any other animals. I have 5 dogs, a parrot and 3 suggies. They are all very sweet animals. But I would NEVER trust any of them together.

Animals have natural hunting instincts and you never know when they are going to kick in.

My vote is a huge NO.

I have 2 suggies & 2 cockatiels. I would never leave them loose & unattended! I have however allowed them to check each other out in a very controlled situation where I could separate them immediately if either showed signs of aggression. They looked at each other & the suggies sniffed around the tiels but then lost interest in each other.
Look what I found on Ebay
