Hi everyone i know i haven't interduce myself yet..but i have a problem i have a male and female glider togther she has baby's i've seen them but they are not fully oop yet..my ? my male has for last 24 hours been locked up with the female the baby's are still inside the pouch most of time..i have seen them out but they stay on mom's belly..will this hurt the baby's and should i put the male in another cage!!!! thank you for any help!!!!

they should be fine. You should definitely make an appointment with a vet to neuter the male soon.

two males + one female can equal some problems. You want either equal males and females or more females than males and sometimes introducing a male to a male/female pair doesn't always work.

Also if the mother has babies you should NOT be adding more gliders, she will be extra defensive and will be more likely to kill her babies and it will stress her out.

I believe I read this correctly..you have one female and one male and she is with babies...the male is the daddy....keep the family together..once OOP mom and dad BOTH take care of the joeys...daddy will stay in sleeping pouch with little ones to give mom a break and a time to eat. Both parents will carry the little ones around (normal is on back)....be sure mom is getting lots of protein since she is nursing. Good luck
