You've been planning it for two months or you will be gone for two months? If you'll be gone that long, are you staying with family or somewhere they will even allow suggies?

I'll take care of him for you. A pocket pet would be a hindrance on a long trip. He also needs to find a cage mate friend.

Most plane trips require you to pay for an extra seat for the glider and then some don't even allow sugar gliders in the front. I know for a fact Southwest Airlines does not allow animals.

Then for the trip he'll need a cage and if it's for two months it will need to be a larger cage than just a travel one. I'd say I'd try to give him his normal cage which *should* be around 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

With gliders stress is a huge factor in their life. You'll need to know a vet who would see your glider BEFORE you got to your destination and probably get him a checkup after the plane ride. Also you should realize places like Massachusets, Pennsylvanial Alaska, Hawiaa, California and Georgia gliders are illegal to own and you cannot take them on a plane there

Also your glider might need a health approval probably before you go on a plane into another state. That means you will need to get one now before the trip and if you're trip is longer than 30 days you will need to get another one before you leave.

Your glider does need a friend as Kazko said. no glider should live alone they are colony animals and being alone they can get depressed.
