I've had my sugar gliders for over four years. Well one. Shylo (six years old) she was given to me by owners who couldn't take care of her. Then my aunt has many sugar gliders. So my mother flew leelow over from idaho. She was six months old. I put them together right away and they seemed fine. They sleep together eat together. groom each other. But at night Leelow jumps on shylo's back and just hangs on while shylo yells. I can't tell if she's playing around or fighting.
So i was wondering if anybody elses sugars do/did this?
Leelow does not have a bald spot and doesn't have a furry ball. I'm pretty sure she's a girl. It's just weird that Leelow jumps on her back. Because everything I've read and what everybody has been telling me is that she might be a he. They both look the same on the underside. I'll keep an eye on the back climbing and see if continues. Thanks for the help guys.
I have 3 girls and they mount each other when they are in heat. And it sounds and looks just like a male and female mating. In fact, Tosca gets so aggressive that I have to separate her for a night or two.
is it possible leelow could be a fixed male? That's always a possibility. One of my gliders was fixed before I got him and he looks about the same on the underside as my female.
