I just ordered two glider kitchen from suz's gliders. Does anyone else use these? I am somewhat concerned with the saftely, I'll obviously inspect them once they get here before I let my babies eat in them. I'd just like to know everyone's positive or negative thoughts on this please.

A glider kitchen is basically a plastic bin with a lid and a hole in the side for a glider to crawl through. The bin is placed upside down and food dishes are put inside for the glider. It helps contain food from messy gliders and keeps bits of food from finding their way onto your walls and floors.

I don't use one, but I've never heard of anyone being anything but satisfied with theirs.

Here's a link to one: http://www.suzsugargliders.com/forsaleaccessories.htm

I have used the glider kitchen and I have not found any hazards. I would just advise you to fasten your kitchen securley to the cage with an old shoe lace or otherwise with all of the jumping around, it will get knocked off. It works great and keeps most of the mess contained so I think you will like it a lot CharleeBefore I built my glider kitchen, I would always have to clean the walls and the floor. This little guys!

Suz would NEVER sell anything that would be hazardous to gliders. If she has it on her site, then you can rest assured it is safe.

Good idea but looks to small for 3 gliders to get in at one time...my babies all want to eat at the same time and 2 are on shell we say the pudgy side!!!!!!! I have fleece wrapped around the back of the cage so it does not get on my wall.....and mine don't fling to much ..they are to busy eating it all!!lol
