My suggies nails are incredibly long and are hindering her ability to move around. I've cut them before myself but I really don't think doing it myself is a very good idea and I fear that it causes her pain. Are there any at home methods other than using a standard pair of nail clippers? How do all of you keep their nails trim and clean?

I had my vet do their initial clipping and then use the nail trimmer inserts on their running wheels. It's really important they don't get stuck because they will do whatever they need to do to get loose. There have been some horror stories...
