Okay first question: Can the wodent wheels be washed in dish washer? Mine really need washing and i'm tired of hand-washing them.

Okay and second question: My mom boss has a male adult glider and he is alone. So he was wanted to get Knik from me to give his a friend. Is this okay? His male is un-neutered and so is Knik. Knik is still a baby and the other is an adult. I need lots of advice before I go trying to give him to this home.

Thanks for all the input.

If you have a nail trimmer in the wheel, i wouldnt put it in the dishwasher.

i think the best bet would to get both of them neutered or you will have dominence problems, i would think the big guy would be a bully to the little guy... :(

I've heard of others putting stuff in the dishwasher. My dishwasher is my 16 yr old daughter and she won't do it. Personally, I'd rather hand wash it than put it in where I put my eating utensils but that's just me & my OCD....same reason I can't put live mealworms in my fridge.

It would be OK for them to get Knik if that's what you want to do but they should not be together until they are the same guy. Worse than bullying, the big guy can kill the little guy if there is a dispute. He needs to be big enough to defend himself if needed. They would probably do better if they were both neutered also.

GNR is right, not only do they need to be the same size but its best with males to have them all neutered, its just a much easier process.

Also make sure that your mom's boss or whatever understand the truth about glider care and wasn't lied to by certain breeders like most people are. And make sure he knows that gliders can't always get together overnight and the introductions make take time.

I've met a few people who have owned gliders much longer than I have but because of those mills they know absolutely nothing about them.

I used to say that about my son. I think when he heard me saying I had a 16 yr old dishwasher he wanted to point out I didn't have a dishwasher. I don't think he was fond of me saying "my dishwasher is 16 yrs old" and realizing I was talking about him.

My sisters and I would beg my parents for a dishwasher, and Mama always said, "I already have four." -- me and my three sisters -- so I know just exactly how your son felt!
