Male Joey's. I know that male joey's have a pom pom or bunny tail like thing that hangs from there lower belly, covered in fur, but they also have a bald spot as well correct. When do they get that bald spot. My male has his; for loss of a better word; furry ball but no bald spot. About how old would that make my Cosmo.

They are born with their poms so those are always there...obviously they get more prominent when they're older. LOL You'll also notice he starts putting off a different odor when he starts developing his bald spot. I would also say by 4 months. I'm sure some could be sooner or later though.

That so strange to hear, four months because I was under the impression he was over 6 months, more like 10 according to the pet store. We all know they don't know much anyway. Okay so he has no bald spot and he doesn't stink either. I have no odors from my babies. Maybe he is younger than they said.

He must be younger than they told you, which is very typical.

Are you sure he's a "he"?

Well there's a pom pom, all furry and dangling from underneath. Hope that's what I think it is. HaHa.

Since I've never seen a picture of a male pom pom I just assumed by the thread's I've read. When we first bought him we were not sure.
