Is anyone else procrastinating about doing Christmas related things? Am I the only one who is totally unprepared for Christmas??? And who is having her whole family over for dinner on Christmas day??? And has NO time off work left???? Yikes!!!!

I should be wrapping presents right now.... And what am I doing??? Posting on here and popping virtual bubble wrap - thank you very much, Eric!!!

Ok - I have to wrap all the presents. Clean the house. Bathe 5 dogs. Get the Christmas cage set in the glider cage. Grocery shop. Cook dinner. Put up a different tree because I dont like the 3 foot tree Alan decided to put up this year. And I have to work Monday thru Wednesday until 5pm....

And Im sure there are things Im forgetting....


So, off to wrap presents. Maybe a silly Santa will get me in the Christmas spirit.

Rita, love the Santa and Reindeer. I, too, am kinda behind. Still a couple things to buy, clean my house, which is a pigsty, so someone can come and watch the animals while we do to Disney, make enough food for all of the animals so the sitter doesn't have to figure anything out, get things for my Aunt and Mom that they want to give for Christmas, wrap presents and heaven know what else, but heck there's still 5 days, right?

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I've been so tied up with other things that I havn't done anything except put up a tiny tree. I am gonna shop till I drop tomorrow and try to get it all done in one day. Bah Humbug!

Wrap? I still need to buy presents. Oh, and ideas would be good too!

No worries Rita, you're way ahead of me. I have to work right up until 6 PM on Christmas Eve.

okay so I put off clipping dogs, clipping kids, baking some items, finishing some shopping till it was real close then I finally said okay gotta clip dogs, gotta clip kids gotta shop got those done still putting of baking till tommorow

Aw man - I'm in sooo much trouble. I haven't done any of my Christmas shopping except for the online stuff. I've been waiting for this stupid knee. Then today I slipped on the ice from the ice storm we had last night. So I'm not back to square one, but darn near. I wish that I only had wrapping to worry about. We have no tree yet. No presents. No Christmas dinner provisions. No baking accomplished. Nuthin'.

This year is the furthest behind I've ever been too...

At least I know that MY presents here.....

No no - I just slipped a little bit. You know how you can be walking on the ice, and just slip without falling? That's what I did trying to get into my car. I didn't fall, but I did reinjure the knee. So I'm just set back a bit.

yea hanging around here isnt smart when we have christmas stuff to do..
but it has gottin some shoppin done online i bought my boyfriend a redskins shirt and myself 2 new shirts and a aweatahirt haha...
they should be here sometime.. they wont update the ups thing..
and my other gifts are coming fedex and are SUPPOSED to be here today but ha nothing has gone my way yet so whatev..

Procrastination! I am the king of procrastination, I even wait to procrastinate We live in Dallas and are going to Baton Rouge, La. for X-mas. About a 8 hour drive, leaving early X-mas morning. Tho we got most of the presents (due only to my wife) their still sitting on the table unwrapped. We (actually my daughter) put up the tree last week. Anyway still have to pack, wrap presents, proportion out the glider food so my son can feed them while we're gone, clean the house for X-mas eve. Hmmmm I thought thats why I got married so I'd have someone else to do all this stuff But since I'm the one retired Anyway ya'll have a wonderful and safe X-mas.

I think you may have noticed that I was not here all day on Saturday and GUESS WHAT?

I got all of my Christmas shopping done and have just a couple of things left to wrap. All of the wrapping would have been done but they were hidden away somewhere (at home) away from where I was doing my wrapping (my Mom & Dads -- away from the hubby & kids) at.

So Rita, you may be right about the hanging around here thing.

I'm not usually one to procrastinate and it throws me off when it happens but I'm catching up slowly but surely! My little brother flies in this afternoon so that doesn't help either!!

Oh boy I am not ready eather. I still have to get stuff to cook and get some gifts for my kids. But hey I have the turkey already so that is a pluse right. Well I think lol. Man I wish we had one more week left. Christmas is comeing up fast now hmmm what to do lol.

The presents are purchased and wrapped. Im still not happy with the small tree Alan put up this year. Its a 4 ft silver tree with clear lights. Its cute, but just not what Im used to.

My grocery list is made. I washed the outside of the kitchen cabinets today - and both inside and outside of the refrigerator. Will finish the kitchen cleaning on Christmas Eve along with the dishes I have to make.


Now - my bedroom is another story!!! It is totally jam packed with glider cage sets, pouches, toys, etc. Where do I go with all this glider stuff??? And, my clean clothes are everywhere. Im such a slob in my bedroom - no where else in the house - just my bedroom. And Ive always been this way. And since that is where the glider cage is - everyone will want to go in there and see them. So I am FORCED to pick up that room. And I dont want to!!! Its scares me!!!

Bathrooms will be cleaned Tuesday evening. Along with any last minute shopping,etc.

I think I may actually have a plan!!!
