look on their bellies. if you see a slit (pouch) then it's a girl. if you see a bump then it's a boy.

i've played with mine since they were 4 days OOP. They're about 10 days OOP now and i hold them for a few minutes while mom is running around playing.

Once their eyes open its usually safe to take them out for a minute or two if the parents don't get too upset. It they do then you can take them all our together and give the parents treats and you may sweeten the pot so you get to spoil the baby.

if you've only had them for 4 days i wouldn't touch them too much until the babies are older. it really depends on the glider. if yours are really friendly then they'll be ok with it but if not then they might think you're trying to take their baby.

my girl is pretty bonded so she doesn't care if i take her babies but as soon as the babies cry she'll pick em up and take em back to the pouch. i'd give it a few days and try to pet the babies in the pouch with the mom and dad in sight and see if they react. if they don't want you touching their baby, you'll know.

Oh okay they seem to have warmed up to me because the first day she would crab at us the boy never did, but now she doesn't crab at all, only bites when i hook the pouch back in the cage while they are in it (little stinker) haha.

If you only had them for four days leave them alone. Let them get use to their new home. If u mess to much they might kill the babies.

Look over this post u can see the different in the joeys.
