Thought I would update everyone regarding Snickerz and Twix.

Come to find out my memory served me wrong and Snickerz is just 3 years oop this month, Not sure why I thought she was older, lol must be old age syndrome. Twix is now 16 weeks oop from what I'm told anyway.

Snickerz could hear Twix from the other room and was so anxious to be with him that she started over grooming her head, I was concerned and took both to the vet. They were given the all clear and we started the intros earlier then the 30 day quarantine (vet's orders) though not by much due to Snickerz excess grooming.

We introduced them in the tent over the course of a week and they never once crabbed at each other or fought. Snickerz was even more playful then usual and Twix just bounced everywhere. They even played hide and seek in the doll house peeking out the windows at each other.

They have been together now for nearly a week and as happy as can be. They chase each other, eat together, and even race to the wheel. They are so cute together and Snickerz has stopped over grooming.

And please note that Trish isnt saying the quarantine period isnt necessary. Just in this case, with one gliders stressed and overgrooming she needed to shorten the time and put them together.

This isnt the normal but there are exceptions to every rule. In *this* case, it was the appropriate thing to do.

Hooray!!!! So glad they are happy together! It's a beautiful thing isn't it?

We love to hear good news! That's exactly what they both needed. How wonderful.

Thanks you guys, I really learned a lot being here, but the best thing is having someone to share all the great news and sad news with.

Snickerz really needed a friend and Twix was just destined to be an only glider. I think it was destiny that I found him.

Sometimes it's a perfect match from day one. That's the way it was with Dizzy and Squeezles. Now - If I could just get their daughters to get along with each other. They squabble over EVERYTHING! Anyhow, I'm so glad that this worked out for you.

Haha Dizzysmom... They are sisters... Its sisterly love! LOL Just like teenage human girls HAHA

I am so glad to hear that they are getting along with eachother so well! I think that My Suggie is wanting to be with the other 4 gliders I have... He barks at them all the time... They are in different rooms... But the quarentine should be over in like a week or two if MY memory serves me right (i'll have to look it up) Hopefully they get Good bills of health again with the new vet I am looking into... Havent been able to catch him on the phone to chat with him yet, guess I'll have to "grill" him at the appt. After everythings over though they will all still be in seperate cages in their own colonies, but they will be in the same room so they can see who they been talking to for what seems like forever now
