Are you giving her the same fruits and veggies every night? My gliders will not eat that same thing two nights in a row.

She's been having blueberries and carrots every night for the past 2 or 3 weeks and seemed to like it! I think a day or two ago I gave her like a tiny amount of oats because it was our 1 month anniversary (That i've had her :) )

Have you noticed she's constipated? I believe oats can do that.

Here is hoping and praying for your little girl! If she doesn't eat soon, maybe you should contact your vet? I'm worried with their small size and decreased caloric intake might put them in shock!

Just be sure to limit honey. It is not good for their health or their teeth. Blending fruits and veggies together seems to always work well for mine. I don't feed HPW, but from what I understand, it is sweet. Can that be blended with their fruit?

I know some people who do that if they have a lot of gliders. Throw the HPW in with everything and either mix it or blend it into a big pile of goo. It will sometimes work when nothing else will.

Oats do cause constipation. If she ever has a problem going poo again, give her a small amount of pumpkin to get her going. Real pumpkin in a can is ok - but not the pumpkin pie mix.

You might want to consider giving her some different veggies each night. Purchase some frozen veggies or buy some fresh and freeze them. Mine love the frozen zucchini that has both yellow and green squash mixed. They also love fresh greens. Lots of us feed Spring Mix which is found in the refrigerated department where all the other bags of salads are found.

I wouldn't do it every night, but sugar snap peas are also a lot of fun of these guys. I buy a mix that has them frozen in it, or sometimes buy them fresh. They seem to love shelling them! :-)

Mine love sugar snap peas, too. I sometimes get them frozen stir fry veggies from Walmart. It has sugar snap peas, broccoli, yellow squash, red bell pepper, green beans, carrots and water chestnuts. They seem to like that as it is something a little different. It's less than $2.00 a bag - and we can eat it, too!

Don't get into the habit of putting honey over everything they eat. Especially since you are feeding HPW, which has honey in it. Gliders are like us - to much sugar can cause dental problems and diabetes. Honey is a form of sugar.

i was just going to try the honey for maybe 2 nights to see if that would make them eat it a little more. I barely put any honey on it maybe just a couple of drips.

Agreed on the honey.

Variety is the key with feeding these little guys. I give them different fruits, veggies, and protein every night. A texture variety is helpful too. Sometimes chunks, sometimes blends. Mix it up!

When mine decide they don't want to eat a particular item, usually fruit: the next night at first I give them only fruit. Then, an hour or so after they get up, I'll give them the rest of their dinner. They wake up hungry, and so they eat what's there; usually when I take them the rest of dinner, the fruit's mostly gone. It works every time, clean bowls in the morning.
