FloridaSugarBreeder - If only you could see how ridiculous this all sounds. I have a feeling you are not a new owner and you have gone to other forums making up similar stores such as this. Did you really think we are that stupid?
If you are truly going to breed, I want to thank you for alerting us.
I think if you REALLY do your research, you'll see that additional breeders are not needed. If you really want to work with gliders, open a rescue instead.

REVIEW: * ALERT * Claims to be a "national nonprofit Sugar Glider Rescue… founded in 1998". Contact phone number has been disconnected for at least a year, and all links to supposed care information are non-functional. NOT USDA Licensed.
I dont make this stuff up www.*site
banned*/index2.php I have a few people on here with genuine advice but the Majority of you people are just as listed on the link above- Good bye
He is showing us he has nothing intelligent to say. I think his entire line of thinking holds empty thoughts. I believe NOTHING he has said is true and his goal is to get the attention of this community. Time to ignore his claims of knowledge. I won't give him the satisfaction of responding to his posts any further.

I wont be waiting for baited breath. It's a sight I see daily. Obviously you didn't realise there are actual aussies on this site that can see that you are well and truly full of it.
Well, apparently the view is the same from Australia as it is for me right here in Florida...he is certainly full of it.
That would be because Dottie Schira DIED. It's kind of hard to answer the phone if you're dead...just sayin'.
quote:Effective June 2007, the Bird Placement Program, Medina, Ohio has closed down due to the passing of its Director, Dottie Schira. It was Dottie's personal wish that BPP and all of her other animal rescue sites, closes down at her passing.
The old Bird Placement Program website (20+ pages) is now off the Internet and its domain name has been bought by another company. Some old website pages may still show up, but all Bird Placement Program "links" go nowhere. If any person or organization still has BPP as a link on their webpage, you might want to remove it.
WHAT are you trying to prove???
(For anyone confused, this is regarding the sugar glider rescue she listed above for whatever reason)
This individual is scrambling to prove that they know what they're talking about and/or appear intelligent. But the more they scramble the more ridiculous they sound. They're in their infancy of understanding the glider community and they are trying to bluff the wrong people.
Yeah... Good luck with that, FSB. Let me know how that works out for you.
I just wanted to add that I want to know what degree you earn from Glider University! Don't pay $4200 for tuition, as you will get ripped again! Look out Ko, some of your pictures of Australia may be added to his journal after his great trip! As for me, I will sit and be happy with my grey babies! Maybe after that, he will meet with God to discuss genetics!!
I have several rare Brown Land Sharks in my back yard... they follow my dogs around. I'm only asking half a mil for the lot of them. Think he'd be interested?
guys come on dont try to sell stuff unless its true thats just ridiculous howevor you can buy my purple polkadotted platypus for 5mil if youd like (notice he's really jss brown but since i say hes purple and polkadotted hes worth 5 mil) rofl
He was wanting to "custom breed" for people. So he bought a "mosaic" specifically to breed her. But he didn't even notice she's not actually mosaic, she's a grey.
He just got his first glider, Dutchess. He was told she was a mosaic so he paid $4200 for her to find out she's a standard gray. Then, he made a post in Classifieds for taking "custom color" orders when he didn't even have a breeding pair yet. He is not USDA licensed and doesn't even have enough females to get one. Then, he claimed to be going to the Taronga Zoo in Australia for personal education from the sugar glider habitat coordinator or something like that. Our members in Australia say there is no such position at that zoo. To put the icing on the cake, he claimed to be taking courses from Glider University which has NO accreditation whatsoever and just claims to have courses. There are no experts affiliated with their website and no such real "university" exists. There are no certifications, degrees or anything else accredited about it...just personal opinions. NO, no we don't need this kind of breeder especially.
This is disapointing to see. I would be embarrased to even be here after telling people those lies!
I mean, Glider University? REALLY? (However, if something of that like did exist, it would be really cool!)
Besides, do you really think he paid $4,200 for his glider? (Even the none expierienced glider owners should know a multi-colored glider to a standard grey.
I'm glad to have an 'inferier glider'. Well two. Mine may have only cost $325 for both, but they are just about the cutest little stinkers I have ever seen. What one judges as inferior color can not compare to the personality that comes shining through. Even those of us who bred and showed horses and cattle know that you can have an animal with the best conformation on earth, but the personality of a winner is what makes the animal superior. I have seen jerks of horses with top degrees loose out when they have kicked a judge or worse. So you can take that money and that thinking and shove it up your arse!
I for one must say I think all gliders are beautifull but the standard greys are probably my favorite any way!!!
The winner of the kentucky derby doesn't win because he's a pretty colored horse, he wins because of his love to race and natural drive to run I love horses :) There great for analagies
