aw, i'm sorry to hear about Chipper. I had just read a bit ago about her mouth problem and it was something i will remember, my daughter has a dunjarian dwarf hamster, so we will keep an eye out for that as he gets older. Sounds like you took great care of her and she was a happy little fuzzy. :(

Im hurting for you. I've been following Chippers story. I'm glad shes not suffering. She held on until it was her time.

Thank you everybody! It has been a hard day. We have spent most of the day crying (it hit my husband really hard as well) and looking at pictures of Chipper. She is not suffering anymore! I loved her so much! She was the best little fuzzy that ever was and even though she and I were always buddies, we became even closer these last few weeks and bonded fiercely. She needed my help and ended up trusting me with her whole heart and soul. She was with me all the time since she got sick (from the time I got up in the morning until the time I went to bed). I carried her everywhere because she was only comfortable when I held her. I feel really alone right now without her little body in my hands!
