Well his cage isn't huge, I'm getting an exel soon though. But I do like to let him out as much as possible. And of course he has a wheel, which he is insepperable from.
I read the nutritional content for crickets, meal worms, super worms, wax worms, june bugs, and catapillers one time in Suncoast's monthly newsletter. Crickets are much lower in fat, and much higer in protein than meal worms. Plus, i can put them in his kitchen and he seems to use his hunting insticks to catch the jumping insects.
I buy them young and feed them my self so I know their gut loaded and healthy for him. plus I have to buy them for my lizards any way, and I was told to limit the lizards meal worm intake a loooooonnnngggg time ago and I always have.
I believe othe members on here feed crickets too, just not as often. He gets three a night evert other or every third night when I have them. Some times we go weeks with out them though, due to the fact that my geckos store extra fat in their tails.
