I was just wondering if it is safe to feed gliders earthworms? The only pet store around me with live meal worms is like an hour away, so it will be a few days until i go out there... but i have nightcrawlers that i feed my catfish, can i give one to them?

Please dont feed them night crawlers. Have you ever felt how thick the slime is on those? Plus you dont know where they came from, what they were being fed or kept in and how old they are. Same goes for the earthworms.


Yes, gliders love mealworms, but they wont die if they dont eat them. Mealworms are a tasty treat but are very high in fat and low in protein.

Jaclyn13, altho this book is one of the best out there for glider information (I also have it) - keep in mind it was written in 1997. Glider research has come a long way since then so everything in the book may not deem true today.
