Definitely sounds like a male to me... I would assume their testes descend over time much like humans...
Another thing you should know is if you haven't already introduced the new glider.
DON'TThey need proper intros including a quarantine and all of them need 2 vet visits to check for parasites. (Vet visits are necessary either way and ESPECIALLY if you are breeding.)
If you are adament about breeding, I would also have a rejection kit ( same site as Dahlia posted ) on hand too... Do you have lineage for these gliders and are you SURE they are of no relation? If you got them from the same breeder, there is a good chance they are and incest can have disasterous results.
Also be prepared to feed a high protien diet to the parents and be aware that quite often I've heard of parents cannibalizing the joeys due to stress, inbreeding or disease.
I really don't suggest breeding when there are so many out there without homes. Besides, if you have trouble telling apart the sexes of your gliders that might be a clear indication you should try them as "Just pets" until you gain more experience... =(
