So until I can afford a nice new cage I wanted to try and fix up the one that came with "Snow White."

My plan was to de-rust it and re-paint it with a non-toxic paint that can serve as temporary until I can get it done professionally or just until I can get a new one.

So my question is... Is there a safe paint I can use temporarily?

The problem with paint is that it can chip.. Even "animal safe" paints can chip.

I wouldn't risk it.
