I never doubted how good of a person she was. I was simply giving the experience another owner had wit her. The person said she was a nice person but there was red flags involved.

I feel that if this owner you speak of had such a bad experience, they would be on here giving their 2 cents, not you.

I think it's extremely rude to bash someone when you have no experience with them.

Who cares? If I was information gathering I'd still listen to what other people had to say regardless if they were involved directly, or were told about an experience from someone else. The person you're speaking of is new to the forum and she obviously didn't see this, or did and just didn't read it. Get over it.

I've heard from many people that Virgil Klunder is a great guy. And I've met Adam, his "lieutenant" (for lack of a better word!) and can vouch that he is really a fantastic person! I really enjoy him and his wife very much. So, yes, NS - you are correct, being a "nice person" doesn't mean someone isn't also a mill broker.

I didn't mean that the fact that Lisa is nice should influence anyone's decision - only that she is nice AND cares a great deal about the well-being of her gliders. AND I was merely sharing my personal experience with her - not meaning that because she is nice, you should endorse her.

After all, one of the first "personal encounter" things I heard about the owner of Pocket Pets is that he's a "good Christian." I can only assume he reads a different Bible?

The reason I CARE is because you are talking about someone on a forum where people can see and make assumptions on the information you are providing...information that isn't even from YOUR experience. So unless you are that person with the problems and specific examples as to why you would caution others not to do business with Lisa, I would watch what you say.

I'm not claiming she's a mill broker either, but someone should hear as many experiences as possible with someone if they can. Yea it would be better from the horses mouth, but since that person is not here I chose to share the information I had which is what the point of a *ing forum is for.

Sadly, although I love Lisa - I have to agree with NS on this one. It is the purpose of a forum. It is up to the person seeking advice to pick and choose the advice they care to take. And hearsay is perfectly admitable outside of a court of law! The only people who won't let you say something you've heard without demanding *PROOF* are people I don't care too much for. (She knows who she is!)

I guess the criminal justice side of me got the best of me...

Oh well, carry on then.

PS. NS...you didn't have to get snotty. I have every right to say what I want to as well. And I felt it was unfair.

That being said. Good day everyone. Back to lurking

Sorry. Rough day. In any event I know information is always best given when it comes from the person with the issue, but that doesn't stop other people from knowing the information as well. Look at it this way, if I learn something in my history class in college, does that mean I can't go and tell someone else about it because I wasn't there to experience it? Every coin has two sides and sometimes you gotta take hte good with the bad.

Amen to that! Let's agree to disagree... I'm feeling over sensitive today. I agree once thinking about it...just touchy I guess.

ANYWAYS...back to the OP's topic...
