I love it when I stumble upon something so simple! They have a ball pit full of plastic balls, toys. I found the green/yellow balls at WalMart a few days ago and I love them! The old ones are hole-y all over...these have holes/openings only on one end so I fill them with goodies and they don't fall out the other end. Here's some pics of tonights fun! Sweet baby Ari really working on getting those mealies out!
Where's Ariana? LOL!
Peek-a-boo!
Ariana
Kodah Bear working on the other ball I've hung from the top of the cage.
Kodah
He would grab it, let it go so it would swing, then catch it on it's way back to him. Too Funny!
Zoey decided to come and see what all the fuss is about...and get her share of the mealies

That is awesome! I had an idea last night and I'm going to implement it on a bigger scale tonight. I took a mealie, put it in a treasure chest and put that in an Easter egg. My guys went to town! Of course, when all was said and done they glared at me as if to say, "all this work for one lousy mealie!" LOL

In the morning do some of the balls happen to end up in the food dish? My sugar gliders do that a lot and I am not sure if its a common game they play.

I"ve been just dropping the treats in the ball bin with all the balls and fleece toys, it's fun to watch them rummage through to get to them. This morning several balls were out & about the cage. When I first got these girls (about 1 yr olds) all they had to play with was the wheel & 2 large jiggle bird balls, 2 wood perches, they had food & beverage dishes and 1 small pouch. I fixed them up good, they now have 2 wheels, ball bin with some new bird jiggle balls & fleece toys, 3 homemade fleece vines, a fleece hammock, a fleece tunnel, and a treehouse, a larger nice fleece pouch & fleece blankets to cuddle with, and of course 2 water bottles & all important dining rooms.

Yeah, I think Ariana tipped the ball just right so some of the mealies fell out and that's what she was doing,...rummaging to the bottom to retrieve them. Mine have never taken anything into their kitchen, but I have 3 cages linked so their dining area is on the far end with their play area on the other far end. And yeah Dad! Gotta give 'em tons of yummies if you're gonna make 'em work that hard!!! Dining side (far Left in pic)~ Sleeping cage ~ then Play cage.

LOVE IT! Guess I'll have to go to wallyworld. Look in the spring toy section? Or the easter section?

There are usually toys aplenty in the food dishes in my gliders' cages by morning. I figure, no big deal...they all clean up pretty easily in the dishwasher! :)
