I'm planning on taking a trip to the store later, and I want to get some different things for my babies. So far it seems like they like carrots, sweet potato, canteloupe, honeydew, peaches, mandarin oranges, and pears. I'd like to give them some more veggies, which ones do your babies prefer?
I also saw someone talking about those sweet potato puffs made for babies, I think I'm going to try those for treats with them as well.

I don't know what my gliders favourites are actually, but they will eat pretty much anything. I always feed papaya and mango every night, they'll eat raspberries, they love spinach but I only feed that once a week maybe x

I might have to just pick up a few different veggies and see what they like. Are there any veggies that are absolute no-nos?

Mine are picky so I just find new things that are in season and I try them. They can have Prickly Pear, Asparagus, Cherry Tomatos, Parsley, RoseMary,(avoid chives, onions & garlic) Bell Peppers (amongst other things)... also, instead of sweet potato puffs for babies you may want to try these....
Got 'em from PetSmart.

Mine eat most anything also but they really love sugar snap peas, spinach, spring mixes, cucumber, tomatoes (both of the last two in moderation because of acidity). Mine like veggies far more than fruits so I tend to mix them together. I you chop different veggies up together and cook them with an egg, they might really like that. Mine devour that.

Yes, Spinach is a favorite here also but just remember it is high in Oxalates so they don't get the full benefit of the Calcium that is in it.
Just don't want anyone to be mislead thinking they are getting optimal Calcium from the Spinach.
Also, since you'll be at the store, you may want to check out PURE MAPLE SYRUP. It's expensive but it has no additives and has a Ca:P ratio of 35:1
I always give them Pure Maple Syrup in their foraging log when I feed Spinach.

I bet they would LOVE those sweet potato sticks. I'll have to check out PetSmart next time I head to Clarksville. I have fun watching their reactions when they get new foods or toys. :) I'll check out the safe list & pick up a few new things at the store. :)
What does the pure maple syrup do for them?

Well I use it in place of honey. I like that it has Calcium in it. It's just another option for a "nectar." I also use Agave Nectar but I don't think it has as much Calcium but I'd have to look that up.
Got this log at PetSmart also.... they have different sizes. I drilled hollows in it and I fill it with "nectars" & treats for them to forage.

My girls usually eat no matter what it is but they get excited about chicken, edamame, eggs, and watermelon.

My Gliders LOVE corn (it's crazy high in phosphorus though) I use that as occasional treats and they seem to like that more than....wait for it...yoggies! They also like Papaya and is the only fruit they will eat consistently.

Gliders have been known to become 'addicted' to corn. I wont feed it at all, but for people who do I wouldn't recommend feeding regularly x
