Rest in Peace, Miss Weasel. So sad to say one of my little sugar gliders passed away. She was a beautiful little girl who came to me 5 years ago at 3+ years old - scared, scraggly, starving and full of roundworm. She was scared to death of everyone and was quite the little biter. I had blood dripping from my elbows more than once from her sinking those little teeth into me. It took her a couple of years to warm up and realize she was safe. After she decided I was alright - she was the sweetest little glider ever.
Weasel....you are loved and I will miss you so much. I'm so grateful to have had you in my life the past few years. You taught me that wonderful things can happen with a little kindness and patience. There is so much more I could say about you - you were so special to me.
I am devastated about losing her....just feel sick.
I'm so sorry Rita. I hope your heartache is healed by good memories. You gave her everything, especially love..She was lucky to have made her life with You.
Oh, Rita, I'm so sorry. At least you know she loved you, and she got to live the last years of her life in a home where she clearly felt safe and loved. *hugs*
sorry for your loss its hard when we lose someone we love and you know you gave your baby a new lease on life and changed Weasel's life for the better and weasel will never forget you. hugs honey
Thank you Rita for everything you do in this community, you have helped me since I first became a glider Mommy. I know how much your gliders mean to you, especially your little girl. May the happy times comfort you in your time of sadness. She truly loved you, and wanted to tell you that she loved you and thank you one last time by snuggling up with you.
