These are twin boys. It may be tricky because you won't see them together or in the same position. They are still getting used to their place. They have a temporary PVC pipecage inspired by Catman. They have a Brisbane otherwise.

They look very similar but then again I don't know their personalities. Like human twins that look so similar until you really get to know them then you see little physical differences and huge personality differences. I'd say just give it more time getting to know them once they get comfortable and youll be able to start to tell one from the other.

Thank you for your response, Lisa! Their personalities were strikingly different. However, as they acclimate, their personalities are not so distinguishable. One did crab and stand to fight. The other would run and hide. Well, they are getting used to us, so the crabber, doesn't crab, the hider, doesn't hide.

Someone noted that the travel cage looks like a food area. It is. I have to explain how this works. The PVC cage actually lifts up and over the travel cage on one end and the wodent wheel on the other end on baby crib pad essentially- the tray to catch stuff and shake out everyday. The travel cage acts as a kitchen so that the food is accessible (for me). To hang their toys and hammocks, I have to climb into the PVC cage. Rather, someone has to lift it and bring it over me. And I work in there with them like it is a tent. The reason for all of this is that I'm not certain how to build an entry on that cage thing. I did it myself (5'3" and 115 lbs with little DIY experience) without my husband or a plan. I was thinking "box" and got the wrong materials the first time. It was quite a feat. Add to that I'm not certain how to build a shelf in there and anything that I hook up to the walls tends to spill all over the place anyway, because I go into the cage to move stuff around. The kitchen works well because I can take it out, clean it and put their fresh fruit and veggie salad in, Leadbeaters, and water on that shelf without being concerned that I will drop it all trying to hook it to a side somewhere. The food that I do have attached to a PVC side in a steel cup always sloshes out when I change stuff around.

In the pictures above, my husband lifted the cage up. I went in. The one on me (green t-shirt) jumped on my back. The other tried to hide behind the kitchen cage under the eucalyptus stick (which is attached to the side of the PVC cage wall, so its cover was blown when we lifted the cage). The Brisbane cage was delayed in delivery. It has yet to be assembled, but I will be thrilled to have it up, because this method is backbreaking and I mess everything inside up everyday, but I suppose rearrangement makes it interesting for them.

Once they get their bald spot, then you can tell by looking - their hair will "part" differently. Well - anyone who doesn't spend time with them won't think so, but you'll see the difference. Also, the personalities, like was already said. I can tell who's who even in the dark by how they act and how they great me :-)

I guess I'm lucky, my 2 girls look slightly different, they're from the same breeder but about 2 months apart, I don't know how they're related if at all. Anyway Lulu, the eldest, has a thinner stripe on her head, that's the physical, the personality is she is more aggressive (she crabs, lunges, and does bite). Skadoosh on the top of her head her stripe gets a wide spot, physically that's the best way to tell, just looking at their faces it's harder to tell apart, her personality, well she's the sweetie pie. They both will hide at times, Skadoosh, although shy, she wants to come out and run around more than Lulu will, they don't stay on us for long periods, they like to explore. Oh, and another way to tell them apart for sure, stick your hand near the cage or Lulu, she'll let you know it's her.

Now that I've explained how to tell mine apart, I have to ask, is there any markings that vary even slightly, by shape or shade? It's hard for me to tell by photos, but sometimes just the slightest variation can help and yes that goes for both physical and personality for sure. Like said already, in time you should be able to distinguish between the 2 a little better.

I found taking clear photos of each glider's face helped me study their features better than trying to look for differences on moving gliders.

There are usually some differences in their faces - the tip of the stripe may be closer to the nose on one glider. The width of the stripe will likely be different. Look at the shape of the head stripe - one side may have a slightly different shape than the other - and that would be different on each glider.

Also look at the black tip on their tail - one glider may have a shorter black tip than the other - useful in identifying which glider is hiding behind the wheel with its tail sticking out. I was able to tell my first pair of gliders apart because one had a longer black tip and more of a pointed tail and the other had a slightly blunt tail with a shorter black tip.

I need to get a pic of them in a monochrome fleece together. I've noticed that the monochrome fleeces are more helpful for me than the busy ones. I just have busy ones: animal stripes as I strive to figure out distinctions between stripes on glider. They also don't seem to hang out as much. I keep finding them in separate pouches. I think it's Daku that is getting territorial, which is strange because he was the shy guy. Araluen would run all over him. Someone gave a good idea on chat: give them a snack. They might stay still enough and not be distracted by the camera.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and built the Brisbane/sturdy. Except for the fact that the directions are virtually non-existent, it wasn't as difficult as I expected. The PVC was difficult, caused a lot of blistering, and took a few days; I still haven't clipped all of the zipties. Some wires on the cage were kind of bent open wide. I bent them back. Did anyone else have that? That made it seem not so sturdy.

I've had my two girls for over a year and they're still identical in my eyes. I just pretend to know which is which if somebody asks :)

Ok,so it's ver hard to tell them apart.They look the same to me.Here is and idea u could put something on one of their legs and write their names on it that would be easy.
