my girl recently has no appetite and stopped taking HPW. Is there any way to let her take her HPW back ? should I do blended food?

She doesn't eat anything, fruit, veggie? Or as she just stopped eating HPW? It wouldn't hurt to try blending, but she may need to be checked out if not eating at all, I'm new to the glider world, but that doesn't seem to be the norm.

It's normal for their appetite to change. How many nights has it been? If it's only been one or two don't worry about it.

Tremors would send me packing to the nearest vet.
It appears there may be something going on other than a loss of appetite that you should seek a vet's advice for, rather than asking about changing diets.
I hope your glider will be well soon - see your vet ASAP please.

Candy's right. When you mention, "Oh my baby didn't eat her dinner lastnight" we of course know this is normal so we tell you to give it time, but if you had mentioned everything up front...tremors!... well that's a whole different thing!
This doesn't sound like a glider being picky for a few nights, this sounds like loss of appetite due to a possible underlying health issue. Take her to a vet.

What kind of a cage is she in? It isn't one of the PVC coated cages, is it? If it is, how old is it?

She's only 1 month old? Was she bred from a pair of gliders you own or did you get her from a breeder??

On April 2 you said your glider was 9 weeks and that you had gotten her 4 weeks earlier.
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">Morning~!! i'm new here too.. had mine for 4 weeks now.. she's 9 weeks old and still in the bonding process too. yesterday heard her bark for the first time and got up and pet him.. i hope my way of bonding is correct though. she still jump away if i didn't hold her. so good luck to you. he'll be your cutest greatest baby ever. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
So exactly HOW OLD IS YOUR GLIDER?
If she was 9 weeks on Apr 2 then she should be 11 weeks now.
If you did indeed get her at only 5 weeks, she may have health issues because she was not allowed to nurse long enough before being taken from her mother.
[b]Now you say she is only 1 month old?????[b]
Your profile says you live in New Mexico - in one of your posts you claim to live in Singapore. Which is it?
You have made posts about your glider's yellow belly fur, an eye problem, and one about your glider being limp when you take her out of the pouch.
If you are seeing so many potential health problems - take her to the vet.
Your posts are not matching up - you keep asking questions but not acting on the suggestions to have your glider seen by a vet for the concerns you are raising.

@@helen88uk i bought her from the pet shop.. i know its a bad idea but here its the only place they had..
@Candy hey calm down.. your like..saying that i did something bad. Before you ask things about me i hope you say it in a calm manner. Id really appreciate it. - i'm from NM - Spore for studies *now*
my gurl came home with me on 11th March..then she's 2 to 4 weeks old now she's about 9 weeks 2 days or a couple days more( 1months and a couple )*that is why I said 1 month* *-theres no confirm how old is she because the sellers don't know- i know its bad so first thing i went to a checkup for her to confirm her age and health** When she first shakes terribly last time i panicked, scared and went to the vet eventhough my family said its okay and just leave it but i didn't. I went to the vet TWICE. THe vet said itll be alright so she gave me vitamins, see how it goes and she's better now. I know she's young that's why i get her to the vet if there's anything wrong. I went there too when her sleeping position changed *that's how much im concern about her*

my gurl had no limp problem. I never post or ask such athing before and she's completely well with her body just yellow fur. The eye im just asking is it normal. she doesnt have it anymore.
so we clear? Im worried about her MORE than myself.

I'm not sure you're understanding how to "age" a glider....
Once they come out of pouch (OOP) the earliest they should leave their parents is 8 weeks, so by the time you purchase they are already 2months old.
When you say anything about her being younger than 8 weeks it appears she was removed from her mama before she was even weaned which isn't good.

Yea your right but they are selling it. I went to the vet she says its not even one month old yet. she's young. That's why im worried. she seems fine and active but she wakes up after midnight. Id always have her sleeping in my bra to keep her warm though.

If she's younger than 8weeks I don't believe she's ready to be eating big girl food....she should be getting a milk supplement...
Prior to 8wks. joeys are still nursing on mama. Even if mama is showing them how to eat regular food they still do some nursing.

If she was only 2 - 4 weeks old when you got her, she probably had not learned how to eat solid foods yet. Most joeys are still fully nursing at that age. About 5 -6 weeks OOP they begin to follow their parents to the food dish and learn to eat the same foods offered their parents.
You may need to hand feed her several times during the night to teach her how to go to the food dish and eat during the night.
Since you are in Singapore - what type of HPW did you purchase? I know they have some products that are not exactly the same as we use here in the US.
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">my gurl had no limp problem. I never post or ask such athing before <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
on Mar 30 you started a thread titled "Is it normal?" <blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">Do you guys have any experience that when they are sleeping, suddenly feel that they are soft and when you held them up they stay still, soft not moving, eyes closed for sometime up to 1 min? Mine did. until i rub them on their body then they will start moving or wake up. I Cant sleep and stop worrying about this. Is it normal?<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
To me that sounded like you were worried about your glider not being responsive when you tried to wake her up.
You might also change your profile so that it shows where you live now. Sometimes when owners post about health concerns people here will work very hard to look up vets or other resources based on the location in the profile to help the owner get the help needed.

She does not need a milk formula but you can hand feed the Original HPW mixture several times during the night to make sure she gets enough to grow and gain weight.
If you can get a kitchen scale that weighs in grams - weigh her about the same time each morning until you are sure she is growing. 18 grams is about the weight of a 2 week OOP Joey. When was that weight recorded?
If she is not eating enough of the HPW she could be dehydrated - that could cause some of the other problems you have seen (listless, hard to wake up, tremors etc)

I'm so confused. 11 weeks and 2 days is about 3 months . . . not 1 month. There are four weeks in one month.

oh. alright. the first checkup she went was about 4 to 6 weeks/o. I used the method of suz's to check for dehydration, her skin is a bit tented. i gave her water but she ignored should i force feed or let her fed on food's water.
@sierranevadaK ah~ my bad. it was so hectic that made me nervous.id do really badly and everything i think is blank.sorry. i accidentally counted from the day i got her *that is 1 month and a week*. so in accurate from OOP is yea its 11week 3days*today* 2 months 2 weeks + - the week is correct the month accidentally counted from the day i got her - so.. we clear? really am sorry for the miscalculation for the months.
