I just adopted two sweet female gliders. There is so much conflicting information online. Can anyone tell me what I should know as a newbie glider owner?

Congratulations! They are super fun! This site has tons of information. I have learned so much on here and still learning tons of new things!

My best advice is to read, read, read. I say that because there actually is more than one way to take care of your gliders. That's probably why you found so much conflicting information. You will find even on this site that not everyone agrees on how to care for your gliders. After getting lots of information, I would just find a happy place for you and your new babies and I'm sure you'll be fine!

Good luck! And enjoy!

Congrats!! Pictures pictures pictures =) lol.

My advice would be the same as Ashley, to read read read. You can never have too much knowledge. Find what methods work best for you such as diet there are soo many options I would suggest just reading them and finding which sounds the best for you and your family.
Also to go with your gut if you think something is wrong it probably is. Let your mommy instincts tell you.
They really are wonderful little creatures!

Wellness check at the vet.

Become knowledgable about diet....no pellets as a staple. A good quality pellet is alright as a snack but not for their main nutrition.

Nice large cage....the bigger the better. (taller is usually better)

And carry them on you as much as possible for some good bonding.
