Yea they used to be the "in" pet but now they aren't anymore. Im pretty sure the "animals as accessories" fad is over too.
But I really need you guys to push this out there. I'll do my part just make sure you do yours and sign.

Not to be a downer or anything, but for a petition to change a state law dont all the signers have to be residents of the state? I know when the SOPA petition was going arround eairlier this year it was a federal law they were trying to pass and my friend currently living in germany was blocked from the site that had the petition for just this reason.

Edit: I did sign the petition but im pretty sure the reason that it asks so much info about your location is because it will not count those not currently living in cali.

I can see every person who signed and where they come from. It counts people from anywhere including out of the country.
Legalizing them in Cali affects more than just residents. It affects people who might want to visit and it affects people who want to move but can't because they own suggies.

I support the legalization of Sugar Gliders in ALL states... However, I don't particularly like the idea of putting my name to something that is vague and potentially misleading. If nothing else, a small excerpt to explain HOW it will save them money so that there is a little more substance to your petition, may prove to be widely beneficial in the long run.

i agree. it costs money to enforce laws that protect animals(gliders). even though there are not laws just for gliders there are still the basic ones that go for all animals. and hopefully there will be laws put into place to protect gliders at the same time. im not sure what kind of fines and things they give out for owning gliders. so thats getting them money.

I live as far away as you can get from Cali (North Carolina) but I still signed the petition. GOOD LUCK!!! I hope you can get this passed!!!
