Again, for those of you reading this...this is why you have to have your emergency vet and consult numbers set up BEFORE something happens. Please, in the memory of Kadi, if you do not have an emergency plan do it today! Call an emergency vet and take the consult #s to them. They don't have to have glider knowledge...they just have to be wiling to use the numbers in an emergency for you. I think too many people think that an ER vet has to have glider knowledge. In an emergency ANY vet will do. Many times just giving sub Q fluids will keep a glider alive to get through the night.
I am truly sorry for your loss of Kadi and I hope that this will help others.
