Always keep your toilet lids shut. My baby delilah got out of her cage and drowned in the toilet last night. I just want to warn everyone because it was the worst thing i have ever wittnessed. I msiss her so much. Thanks for reading.

Sorry for your loss but thank you for warning everyone about the dangers of toilets and the need to make sure cages are escape proof.

I'm so sorry to hear that. :( There is actually a little ladder made for toilets I've seen someone selling. Unfortunately, I have seen people posting about this happening a few times. I think it's one of those dangers most don't consider. Thank you for posting a reminder. I'm sorry about the circumstance though.

I'm sorry for your loss. This is a scary thought. We let them run in the bathroom as the gliderproof area. We do maintain a watch and shut them in the cage after. Shudder. They haven't escaped yet. Hopefully, they can't.

I could not imagine having to find your sweet glider like that. That has got to be awful. Thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry for your loss.
