I don't believe there's a set number. 2 gliders can be their own colony I suppose.

I have 2 colonys right now. 2 in one and 3 in the other. Planning on makeng them one colony at some point. after the boys are fixed. I am sure there are others on here that have bigger all together.

I have a colony of 4. Three girls and one boy but I would like to have another boy someday.

2 Gliders are a colony, 3 gliders are a colony, 4 gliders are a colony, 5 gliders are a colony, I think you get what I'm saying. If you have more than one glider, you have a colony.
