Hello, I am new here, and my girlfriend and I are soon to be new glider owners! Before I get to my questions let me just say thank you to everyones knowledgeable posts here, you've all really pointed us in the right direction and I feel much more educated then I was a few months ago when I started my research.

Onto my question about diet. The breeder we are getting our gliders from has them on the Priscilla Price diet aka exotic glider diet. What are your thoughts on this diet? I couldn't find any posts about this particular one on here, just wanted to make sure it is recommended for our little guys! also if anyone does use this plan, do you freeze it in advance? How long does it last/stay fresh and healthy for?

Also it asks for a staple food, what should I use?

I know several people who use this diet and love it. Unfortunately I do no know if there on these boards. They are facebook friends. I can PM you their facebook names.

I have tried it in the past. It was stay fresh a long time. You NEED to use Priscilla's vitamins. This is a must. The "pet glider/priscilla price diet" is the staple. Some people feed monkey biscuits as well. Error, missing URL. l

That diet would be wonderful for your gliders. Gliders on Priscilla's diet live long, healthy lives. It is one of the diets I feel comfortable recommending to others.

Yes, you make the diet and freeze it. There are a lot of people on TSS that feed it. PM me if you have specific questions. I do not feed this diet, but I would be more than happy to put you in touch with several people who do.

Jason, I do use the diet and my babies do great on it. I have used it for about 1 year now with no problems. I make a double batch and that lasts my 4 gliders about 2 months.
