My mom's neighborhood had HUGE garage sale today that was so busy, I didn't even have time to walk around to check stuff out. Well, my brother did and came home saying one of our neighbors was selling "sugar bears" and one was "a Rare albino". I highly doubt it is an albino... Probably a leu. And my guess since they were calling them sugar bears they follow PPP practices. I didn't go look because I know if they were in bad shape I would buy them in a heart beat and I really can't handle new gliders right now with the limited space. Was I wrong? I'm second guessing myself and feel horrible.

Don't beat yourself up. Its a shame they were being sold at a yard sale, but you know your limits both financial and space-wise.

Well I give you Kudos....you have more restraint than I do. I would have had to at least look and get a price...which would probably be my undoing!

You don't want to get in over your head so your other babies suffer...hopefully someone knowledgable snatched 'em up!

I can not imagine anyone selling gliders at a garage sale...especially a pricey leu. Would the gliders have even been safe to be kept outside all day for a garage sale? Now I'm sad too :( However Blackdrappa you did the right thing not to go buy them if you are not able to give them the home they will need. So please don't beat yourself up over it.

I hope that something was mentioned about animals and this was a somewhat legitimate breeder. I have been known to call my bears anyway because it's a cutesy terms.
