Hi...Does anyone know when the baby's color is set? Two weeks ago, my mosaic female had a pink tail hanging out of her pouch. Now, she has a solid dark tail AND another tail with black and white rings. She is HUGE! Can these tails still change colors this close to ooping? The daddy is a leu.
Can a mosaic glider have a dark tail?
Thanks!

Yes, a mosaic can have a dark tail. A mosaic can also breed a standard grey FTR. My younger glider's parents were WFB and WFB, Ringtail, White-Tip Mosaic... he was born WFB and his twin sister is a gorgeous WFB, White-tip Mosaic.
Based on the description of the Mom and his sister, I'm guessing that if 'white-tip is notable, it is only so because it's not a guarantee and there is a possibility of a Dark-Tip Mosaic as well.
