I saw a thread on here that had a picture of a squirrel glider in one of the replies. Does anyone know anything about squirrel gliders? And whether or not they can be successfully kept as pets?

There is the wikipedia article on squirrel gliders. They actually don't look much different from sugar gliders.
I am curious about them as pets, what they're personalities are like, etc. It would be interesting to keep two similar species

Unless you live in Australia and are licensed appropriately, there is no sense in even wanting such as a pet. You cannot get it.
Some of our Australian friends will have these. I suspect you would find the ringtail and brushtail possums of more interest for keeping as pets.

Yes, I was doing some research and squirrel gliders were placed on the list of threatened species. So sad. They seem like very interesting animals. The bush opossum is just as adorable though. I bet it'd cost a fortune to get one though.

That video is too cute! I would not want to get bit by one of those though ;)
