I am really interested in a pair of gliders but the male is not neutered and I am nervous that something may go wrong. So I know I need to have a emergency kit and everything but I plan on doing a Pom on neuter by dr. King in st.louis and was woundering if anyone has gone to this vet and if anyone has had any problems when you got your male neutered.

You may get better answers making more specific topics, like "Dr. King in St. Louis?" "Vets in St. Louis?" "Neutering in St. Louis?" so people know that the question is regionally directed.
Make sure you have an ecollar or an ejacket on hand, and make sure you learn how to put it on before you need to.

I would ask the vet if he neuters gliders on a regular basis. If he has done many of the procedures, he will likely describe his methods to you. You can also ask if any of the gliders he has neutered had complications or required an e-collar afterward.
If the vet says many of the gliders he as neutered had problems after surgery - choose another vet.
I have had 3 gliders neutered by an experienced vet. She uses a long acting pain medication applied to the surgical area before she closes with surgical glue. By the evening after the surgery the boys acted as if nothing had happened. Other than their usual grooming when they wake up, they ignored the surgical site. They ate well that night and had no problems.
