What kind of "issues" did the male have when he came OOP? I ask because I am curious if that is a tangible reason to wonder about a future medical reason.
Here is the bottom line - Your gliders offspring may not have lineage...but they are NOT second class gliders because of it. And *sometimes* people in the community can certainly make you feel that way. I do agree they should not be bred. But what's done is done. You did your best.
You absolutely can rehome them with a rehoming fee no less (and I advise you do unless you know them- see below) to a PET ONLY home that you are sure will not want to breed (and neuter what you can). You will find that most pet only homes are not hyper focused on it and might not even care as the posters above mentioned. The most important thing (to me) is that you understand any medical issues in the background and that you have some idea about their relation if possible - so if there are any risks, you can share those with a new home to be full disclosure.
For the rehoming fee - in the general public this is a MUST in my opinion. You need to use this as part of your screening process. If you rehome to someone and you do not want to charge a rehoming fee because you feel bad - then have them give you their vet information....a good exotic vet if possible. Have them pay the rehoming fees to the vet on their account with the name of the new gliders. The point is, they still have to show they are willing to pay $$$ towards the gliders and the $$$ is going to the vet and the end result is that your babies are the beneficiaries. This also helps to build their vet fund for emergencies and general care off the gate. Another option is to have them pay for the neuters if they are boys, or to have them even pay toward your vet account and then the parents of the babies get to have some medical care as a result of their hard work with their joeys.
For example, say you have two joeys (male and female) and you want to rehome them for $300 total. Have the new owners meet you at the vet on neuter day. They open an account in their name. They pay for the boy's neuter there and the neuter is done. They pay the remaining amount ($150 or whatever) to their account as a prepayment. Then they are both getting set up nicely for the next visit which should cover two wellness and the fecals at least or God forbid...a simple sick visit?
