Yeah, I'm not understanding what you mean by blending and freezing this diet....
The items on this diet are examples of the different foods such as protein, fruits and veggies. This is how I feed because my gliders won't touch any of the recognized diets for any length of time, but they always eat hardily on their "off" nights which consisted of feeding this way...so I do it full time now.
You can give them a hard boiled egg one night with maybe some greenbeans & watermelon.
One night they could get a chicken drumstick...cooked with no seasoning. I boil mine. A veggie and a fruit and maybe some yogurt.
Another night you could offer ground turkey, a different veggie and fruit.
Does that help give you some ideas? Also if you look in Kazkos albums he has photos of several of his dishes at feeding time which can help also.
Mine are very picky about veggies so I take some ground turkey, I use either broccoli slaw or a varity of greens/veggies such as some Kale, Spinach, and a chunk of carrot...I chop it very finely in my Magic Bullet and mix it all up with the turkey just like making meatloaf.... I cook it and let it cool then chop it all up in glider sized pieces...THEY LOVE IT! And the veggies are so small they can't pick 'em out.
On another night I'll scramble an egg....I do the same thing with the veggies and actually put a raw egg into the Magic Bullet and blend thoroughly...then I cook it up just like an omlette...again, they gobble the entire thing up... and they've gotten their veggies without knowing it.
They eat so much better this way! I know people tout the "recognized" diets, and I'm sure they work wonderfully for many people, but for mine, IMO it does no good to feed a "recognized" diet when they aren't eating it. They aren't getting any nutrition if they leave it in the dish so while it may have the optimum Ca:P ratio and be perfect in every way...my gliders aren't benefiting...so while I may not have the perfect Ca:P ratio every single night, I know they are getting a wide variety of foods ie; nutrition and it all evens out in the end.
