For those of you who have the raptor wheel I have a question..... Is it quite when your SGS are in it?

Yes. I have heard friends say it is quieter than the stealth but no difference other than price. (and i guess bearings ...)

Yes, the wheel itself is very quiet. However, you must have a sturdy cage or it will rattle (as with any other wheel). All in all it is a great wheel and I have no complaints :)

Lets put it this way Raptors and Cruisers are all I will buy!

I started with a wodent, then got a raptor - yes! it is so much quieter!! And i feel better at night knowing they are safe in that wheel...

The wheel is quiet, can't say that about the gliders.. lol

I have an Eco Raptor, and what a difference it is compared to the Wodent Wheel!

LizGirl is right. My cage rattles at night. I was thinking of putting the wheel on a piece of fleece, but instead I figured I'd try hanging it. I had to make a few minor adjustments to the cage (hanging more fleece to absorb sound, putting buffers beneath the cage locks so it doesn't tap, etc.) and the only thing I find that makes noise is the sound of her nails against the trimmers.


All in all, it's a great wheel! :)

I have 3 raptors and the only thing I hear is the nails of my gliders as they run in them, same noise they make in their stealth and custom cruiser. The raptor is a wonderful wheel and David's customer service is the best.

Thank you to everyone that replied to my post, you have been lots of help. I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you all sooner, it's been a crazy weekend here. I ordered a Raptor Wheel for them and it's on it's way
