So what's the BAD news?!??! Either you are not single or you are not located anywhere near me?
Haha! I think Portugal is quite far from USA, just a thought. Avbjessup Face Hugger USA 768 Posts Yes I am! Haha I was watching it again when I wrote it. Hey again guys. I'll take some pics tomorrow so you guys can check what I'll be saying now. Today is the 4th day on starting her new receipt. So it's still 50%/50%. She seems a bit more fat and energetic, slightly bigger, however she haven't start yet developing fur on her belly, and on her tail it misses a lot of fur also
Some photos from our members Chris R Glider 119 Posts Foxnora, she lost hair/didnt grow hair because of lack of proper nutrition during vital growing stages, her body was to busy fighting to grow the little bit she did and keep going to worry about hair growth/good skin (simplest way to explain). It will grow back in once she is more stable/getting what her body is needing. :) Oh okay thanks :) And when will I notice a good developing on her size? She's slighty bigger, however she looks fatter than before. I will have to give her this new food for more than OR only two weeks? Today it's day 5 (13-04-2013). Chris R Glider 119 Posts We will check her out at the 2 week mark and decide how she has progressed.. also you can probably put her food into a baby jar lid and let her lap it up herself (put about 3-4 cc's in), when she is full she will slow down eating and/or walk away from the jar lid (to get her used to eating out of lid just lightly dip her mouth into it and she will figure it out quickly)... we can go to feeding her every 4 to 5 hours doing it that way, you will notice she will eat less like every other time, this is when you can lengthen time inbetween feedings but offering her more to eat at the same time of lengthening The reason I say baby food jar lid is its easy to gauge how much she is eating, use the syringe to put desired amount in, when she is done you can pull the formula still left in jar lid back into a syringe and know how much she has eaten each time, always discard the extra food and dont put it back into your made formula, you will also want to warm it slightly still so not to upset her tummy... Chris R Glider 119 Posts Oh and to ansewr your question about growth, it varies... but like every other baby out there (including humans) they get chunky and then have a growth spurt, get chunky, growth spurt LOL Okay, and just to add that in the past 2 days, she's been eating less than 2mL. Is it a bad sign? She eats fast, then goes slooowww, and then walks away. I still try to stick it in her mouth, she just doesn't accept and try to climb up to my face. Chris R Glider 119 Posts It depends on how often you are feeding her?... It could be sign as I said above that you are needing to lengthen the time inbetween feedings... I would try to feed her another 1/2-1cc of what she has been eating but add one hour to the time inbetween feeedings I'm feeding her every 3/4 hours, 25%old recipe/75%new recipe. I'll change it to every 5 hours then. One more thing, should I put her in a small cage? So she can climb and all that. Chris R Glider 119 Posts Yep, I would put her into a small cage with a fleece pouch and some fleece blankies to cuddle with, line the tray with white paper towels so you can keep a close eye on her poop (notice to hard or to soft/diahrrea).. go ahead and put up a water bottle also so that she can get used to the idea of drinking from them :) Uhm okay :) The cage she will stay now has 20cm long x 16cm wide x 17cm high tall, since she's very small, I don't want to put her in a bigger cage, or should I? quote: Originally posted by Foxnora

I might be a bit late here but is going from 3/4 of an hour to 5 hours too big of a jump in time for her? I would increase time between feeding by an hour at the most. If she starts crying in between then she is hungry. Alos please update The Sweet Spot as not everyone gets over here and we often wonder how they are doing over there also.
