I have bigger cages I can put her into, however, I'm afraid she might hurt falling off the top. Shouldn't I really mind with it?
If not, then I'll put her in the previous cage of my adults.
Oh and I was feeding her every 3 to 4 hours, not 45 minutes haha

You can line the bottom of your cage with fleece if you are worried. Why would she fall from the top? Be sure to clean that cage real good.

Yes, why are you worried about her falling from the top of the cage? Is she showing inability to coordinate her movements or something? All of my joeys start exploring their parents large cage at about 6 weeks OOP, I have no fear of them falling at all by that age

Hey again, I was away from the computer for a while, sorry
First, about her pics. I can't seem to find the damn camera... As soon as I can, i'll upload them.

Issues i'm noticing:
- Her hair loss is getting more noticeable;
- She doesn't eat more than 1.5mL / 2mL each time;
- Sometimes I found her being a little cold in her hands.

Note: In Portugal the temperature is raising a bit, so maybe the heat could be affecting her fur. I feed her every 4 or 5hours a day, even nightime.

Can you get ahold of some probiotics like bio-pro...also she needs a fecal float and smear done by the vets, have them check for "swimmers".. I suspect something might be going on but she needs to see a vet

They're asking almost 80$ for the fecal float
Could you name some good probiotics?

Where do you live? They must be doing more than just a fecal float. Which is good. If she does have parasites, contact me. I've dealt with parasites quite a bit in the past year. Can you get some Bene-bac? It is a probiotic (the one I use/d). I like to use the powder as I can sprinkle it on their food. Otherwise they don't like to lick it off my finger. Well, Kai doesn't. Its a good idea to always give it to them I feel. Keeps their little gut flora balanced. I've done, hookworms, roundworms and giardia. I now have a Pentatrichmonis. Have you fed any new food lately? Change the water recently? Or not change it? I hope she doesn't have parasites as it is a pain to have to sterilize everything daily during the course of treatment. Including waterbottle, wheel, pouches.

I see. Hopefully your country/town has a petstore that sells probiotics for small animals. If not, feed her plain no-fat yogurt. Karen, I didn't realize he lived so far away.

Hum okay, i'll take her to the vet tuesday, since it's when i'm available.

I still use the recipe Chris gave me, 1part milk replacement powder for Kittens / 1part heavycream / 1part water. Every 4 or 5 hours, 1.5mL/3mL.
(Note: Yesterday morning, she started eating more than before! It was just like a "click", and she passed from eating 1.5mL to 2mL or more, each time .)

About the probiotics and yogurt, Omis n Kais g-ma, are you saying that if I don't find any SMALL ANIMALS probiotic, I should give her plain no-fat yogurt? And won't the human probiotics work with her?
If it's ok to give her the yogurt:
- How many times per day?;
- How much?;
- Should I add it to the misture I give her?;
- What will improve with it?.

About the photos, I still can't manage to find my camera... I suspect it's at my girlfriend's house

I'm quite late to the conversation, so I don't have much to add... but I noticed you said you didn't have a vet in your area that knew much about gliders...

I don't know if your vet would be willing to make an international call (to the US), but here is a list of good vets who do phone consultations with other vets . in other words, if your vet doesn't know enough about gliders to treat yours, they (not you) can call any vet on that list to get help.

Yes, plain no-fat yogurt is fine. It has live cultures in it to help keep her good bacteria healthy and not allow the bad to overcome. I don't know if amazon delivers to Portugal but here is where I got mine and it is quite a bit cheaper than at Petco. These are gels but they work just fine.http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00061MROA/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new If you can't find it or can't get anyone to ship to you, let me know. I can send a package or two to you. I don't mind.

Once a day
a tiny drop is enough. You have to knead the tube a little to get the probiotic to mix with the medium they use.
you can't add the gel to the mixture. However they seem to love the taste of the gel. You shouldn't add the powder to the diet and freeze as it deactivates the probiotics.
As I said before, it'll help maintain/balance the gut flora in her belly.
Every living thing has gut flora. Good to combat the bad. Like if you give her antibiotics, the antibiotic will kill her good bacteria as well as her bad. Not good. That will bring her immune system down and leave her body unable to recover fast. Same with humans.
Yogurt:
Daily with meals. I suppose you can use it as a treat.
I give maybe 1/4 tsp perglider
Some diets call for yogurt (Priscilla Price diet...I'm currently giving that and mine LOVE IT
same as probiotics. Don't know if you've ever heard of Activia but you can feed that as well. Pretty much any flavor yogurt is fine. As long as there are no artificial sweeteners.

Here is the other probiotic I think Brenda menioned Probioshttp://www.amazon.com/Probios%C2%AE-180-D-Dispersable-Powder-240g/dp/B002WDGLL0/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1366839216&sr=1-1&keywords=pro+bios

activia yogurt is best as it has added probiotics into it, she really does need to see the vet for exam and fecals though... probiotics I use is benebac podwer and probios powder and I mix a small amount in the formula/food..

regular non fat yogurt does have some probiotics in it just not the added amount that activia yogurt has in it, just make sure its not LIGHT yogurt

Okay thanks :) Yesterday I bought these: ; They were in one subdivision named "Probiotics" in the Yogurts corridor/hallway. Are these good to go? :)
2 days ago she didn't had any fur on her belly, but today I checked it and WOOOW, she already has it! And many haha

No, she should be old enough now that a little cold stuff wont hurt her... you can mix it into the slightly warmed 'mush" you are feeding her, that will bring it to more of a room temperature

Okay so let me get this clear.

I'll feed her each time:
- 2mL/3mL warm "Chris's recipe";
- 0.5mL cold Probiotic yogurt/natural yogurt;
- Every 4h/5h.

Right?

She seems to be developing well now, with fur all around her body, except part of her tail (but I see some starting to grow).
She has some toys aroung her cage, so she can explore and play with while I'm not with her :)
Even with her being alright, Tuesday i'll go with her to the vet, to check for "fecal float" or what was it called haha
Afterall it was my sister who had the camera! And still has... Anyway, to compare her size and fur development.

This picture is NOT from her (it was googled), however it kinda looks like her, WHEN IT COME TO FUR, not size. However Lily has long and "good" fur on the tip of her tail, but the rest's almost hairless.

About her size, when I started this post, she was -5,5cm (without tail) and +-3cm wide. Now she's +5,5cm (without tail) and +4cm wide.
Hope you understand!

New questions:
- When should I start feeding her adult glider's food?;
- When can I introduce her to eat from a bowl, instead of the dropper?;
- Should I let any solid food around her cage at night, so shen can try to nibble/eat it?;
- Should I bath her? If so, how.;
- Can she eat SMALL mealworms? (As a treat and to introduce her to live insects);

I think it's all for now Sorry for having so many questiooonnnnssss

1. you can start now weaning her back to LGRS, just go backwards so 75% my recipe and 25% LGRS (add the yogurt on TOP of this amount ie mix it in after the above percentages) for 2-3 days, then go 50/50 for another 3 days, then 25% my recipe to 75% your LGRS (still adding the yogurt ON TOP) for 3 days, then switch to LGRS while still adding the yogurt, she is going to need it for awhile yet, also at this point it would be a good thing to add in avacado as that will offer some very good and NEEDED fats (can be offered in small pieces with fruits/veggies) if she isnt eating it then you can blend it into the LGRS

2. You can intro her to bowl now to eat out of (still feeding her 3 times days, just larger amounts) like start her on the 75% mine to 25% LGRS today and each time you go to the next step, increase amount offered and decrease time, so that by the time you reach 75% LGRS 25% mine you are feeding twice a day (morning and night) and then when you go all LGRS she is being fed once a day

3.absolutely start offering solid foods, normal fruits and veggies immediately, make sure to offer a few pieces of avacado like I said above

4.no, do not bathe her, she should be grooming herself just fine, if not, it can be a health issue and you need to mention it to the vet

5.yep, she can eat small mealworms, to get her intro'd to that, pull the mealie in half and squish the guts up, and offer it to her "juicy side up" lol

While it sounds like she has grown and has good weight gain, what does concern me is why you ask if you should bathe her? Is she dirty/wet appearing? any staining? and if so, what color is the staining?

1. Will do! You really do give nice advices... Good job!

2. Okay, so when I start to feed her ONLY the LGRS, I should give it 3 times a day? (morning, afternoon, night)

3.

4. Oh no no, she's fine :) I only asked that since she's alone, and could need some help with the grooming.

5. LOL okay!

Thanks you Chris :)

as I said, do the 75 mine 25 LGRS (for 3 days, 3 times a day) then go to 50/50 (I would be feeding it still 2 times daily with maybe midday snack of yogies or mealworm or?) for 3 days, then 75% LGRS to 25% mine, this is when you go to feeding 2 times a day again for 3 days time.. when you hit 100% LGRS is when you are hitting once a day feedings

- 1st time: 7:30 (7:30am)
- 2nd time: 14:30 (2:30pm)
- 3rd time: 22:30 (10:30pm)

If she is beginning to eat from a dish on her own, you might also leave that optional serving for 2 am in the cage for her to eat on her own at night. That will also tell you if she has caught on to going to the food dish on her own at night.
