What kinds of seeds? Shelled sunflower seeds are. Ok.....almonds and pine nuts in moderation....seeds and nuts are harder for them to digest. The petstore sugarglider food has seeds but are not recommended for them.
yes in moderation, and shelled pumpkin seeds are ok. The seeds and pits of fruits are toxic and should not be given. Cherry, avacado pits and Apple seeds are toxic.
And "in moderation"...think of how small an animal you are feeding...an almond would pretty much fill their tummy.
I feed all sorts of raw things in the shell. Peanuts mostly. I know if you feed seeds and nuts in the shell often, they will eat some of the shells and this will plug them up. I think feeding seeds like peanuts and sunflower seed in the shell functions sort of like feeding a dog a milk bone. Removing deposits from the teeth. Should you feed them every night, no. But they do go nuts for em. heh heh. Happy Landings!
Very cool.. I think I will offer him sunflower seeds and penuts and almonds only every now and then as a treat. So seeds in fruits like kiwis and strawberry a and blackberrys are ok? I knew the no seeds thing and it freaked me out about everything lol
