Mom doesn't ever leave joey with dad. It's 3 days OOP and whenever mom leaves the pouch (which is RARELY!) the joey is IP. I got worried on the 1st day OOP that i hand fed her in the pouch. Then i noticed she wouldn't come out at all so I stopped hoping she'd come out. She did, but with joey hidden

I just got mom 3 weeks ago today so we're not 100% bonded but i'd say we're pretty close. (I think?) Dad and I are a different story

How am i supposed to handle the joey? I know i'm already supposed to be handling it so it does ok with people but i can't figure out how.

I tried to take mom out to handle her and joey went right into her pouch. I took mom and dad out together and held them in their blanket on my lap and i found out it's a boy!(VERY obvious! ) but every time i'd try to move mom's leg or something a little, joey buried deeper into mom's pouch.

Where do i go from here?


I'm so lost here. I tried checking on Suz's website and she said take it from dad when he's "sitting" but he's NEVER sitting...

Nevermind. I guess the joey isn't OFFICIALLY OOP. It's still attached but just handing outside of the pouch occasionally.

Lol, just be patient hun. I know this last little bit of waiting seems like it lasts the longest, but it won't be long now. If your gliders are comfortable with you, I will also usually spend a brief amount if time just gently petting the Joey while he or she is nursing so that it already begins to get used to you. But don't fret, you'll be able hold your little bundle soon enough.
