why do you need calcium carbonate? For the original HPW you only need water, eggs, honey, hpw powder and bee pollen www.sugarglider.com/gliderpedia/index.asp?HPWOriginal I got my bee pollen from a local whole foods market. If your local markets don't sell bee pollen, then check online. The stuff I have can be ordered form Amazon.com www.amazon.com/Fresh-Bee-Pollen-Whole-Granules/dp/B00014I80Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1368497957&sr=8-2&keywords=bee+pollen
The HPW powder and bee pollen will last you for a while, so it should be a while before you need to order again.

Many of these things may not be importable across national lines. So it is a valid issue.

For calcium powder, you can make your own using cooked egg shells ground up into powder.

You might want to choose another diet plan that is easier based upon the ingredients you have locally.

No you can not omit the bee pollen. There are lots of other diets to choose from, look under nutrion. As far as calcium there are alot of fruits and veggies that contain calcium, by offering a variety they will get what they need. I get my hpw and bee pollen from sweetsugargliders.com

Oh, okay. When you said you got the HPW powder I thought you were going to make the original hpw diet. Look under in the gliderpedia under diet and you can see if there is a diet that will have ingredients that will be easier to get. Since you already have the HPW powder, maybe your friend can get the bee pollen and send it to you too? Then, you could make your own calcium powder as kazko said, or just feed the original hpw diet. Those things will last you a while, and give you time to figure out a diet that you can find the ingredients locally. Good luck.

just remember i got this . could i give it to them?

kazko's is a good idea but since i will go to australia and give them back to their owner , my couldn't -care-less sis, i dont think she would be bother to do this.

sarah, i did do alota research about approved diets. i still stumbled here and there getting whole ingredients. with HPW, i can keep supplying my sis from perth as they are australian product.

the mineral stone should not be used for your gliders. They do not require the salt it contains or the vitamins. The Wombaroo High Protein Supplement contains all the vitamins necessary and adding anything with additional vitamins may be too much for gliders.

The sugar gliders wont chew the stone nor should they as it will be very bad for their teeth. I think if you feed a basic diet and supplement with only some calcium powder, that is all you need. Been working for me for a long long time. I am sure a person can find some very interesting vegetables, fruits and meats in Indo. There is no need for mail order powders.
