My suggies only seem to be eating there veggies and fruits at night instead of the HPW. I have 2 girls both over a year old and both in the same cage. Could i simply pour the HPW over the fruits and veggies to see if they will eat it? Whats your opinion on this idea?=)

I can't see why not. They might not like their food like that though. My fuzzbutts are so picky they don't like their food to touch. I've tried chopping f/v in a small chopper together but they wont touch it. Spoiled if you ask me. I guess it serves me right for serving them on divided baby plates for 3 years. Meh. Try it.

I don't use HPW, I use a glider kids staple but I have the same issue.

They eat most of their fruits and veggies but don't lick their bowl clean for their mixture. I drizzle honey on it or mix a tiny bit of fruit juice to add fruity flavoring.
Nothing I have tried works all of the time...it's very random. I think they(mine any ways) go in eating spurts and sometimes eat more and sometimes a lot less.
I will be making them new staple this weekend and am going to try OHPW and see it they like it any better.

I mix it all together and mine seem to like it better that way. So I say go ahead and try it. I was having the same problem and just the opposite at times where they would rather just lick up the hpw and not eat any fruits or veggies.

That's funny, mine don't like their fruits touching at all, I have to put them in individual little dishes. The veggies can all be thrown together and they are fine with it.

I keep the HPW separate and they seem to like it that way, but I've heard of people mixing it with their fruits and veggies. Won't hurt to try it.

I'm getting the feeling that just about all gliders have their own unique hangups when it comes to food.

ha, i have exactly the opposite problem, my suggies love the HPW and barely touch thier fruits and veggies. So i have been using HPW fruit and veggie recipes, but i blend until smooth. Then at night i take thier f&v and mix in the HPW. (i make sure to mix it really well, otherwise they just eat the parts that have higher concentrations of HPW).

So as a mixer, i say go for it. its the only way i can get them to eat a balanced diet.

Hope this helps!
