My sugar glider is calm but, it's friend is a scardy cat . So, I am just wondering if other animals ( in or out of the cage) could get along together.

I liked Kazko's answer to another person on this same subject.
"A lion and a human can get along just fine...until the time they don't."

It's never worth the risk.

I never let my dog see them outside of the cage, just while they are inside of it. We have trained her that she can't go up on the cage to see them, mostly because both of the gliders will crab at her if she gets to close. I want her to see them and get used to them in a way that they won't get hurt and it has been working, she has been leaving them alone more. My cat was interested in them for a day, then she got bored of watching them and isn't interested. I wouldn't say gliders can get along with other pets that well, I just wouldn't risk it.

At first my glider had issues with my mixed lab, but know they get along. I don't let her out of her cage unless she is in her ball. Sluggo doesn't bother Alice except when she rolls in places that she isn't suppose to be. They get along pretty well now.

Sorry to sound like a broken record everyone but every time I see this question I have the same answer

Here is the run-down of the top 5 death reasons for sugar gliders:

1. Malnutrition and any malady stemming from it
2. Dehydration
3. Eaten / Crushed by dog or cat
4. Killed by another glider either directly or from infected bite
5. Exposure to extreme temperatures
